September 15–17 at the Somerville
Steven Soderbergh kicked off the modern wave of independent film when his debut feature SEX, LIES, AND VIDEOTAPE made a splash at Sundance in 1989. Since then, he has made everything from blockbusters (the OCEANS and MAGIC MIKE trilogies) to experimental films (SCHIZOPOLIS, BUBBLE). However, his last few films have only played on streaming services, skipping theatres entirely.
We believe all films are made better when seen on a big screen with an audience, so we are bringing three of Soderbergh’s recent films to town for their Boston-area theatrical premieres.
Join us and see these films as the should be seen—on the big screen at the Somerville.
