In a taut and frightening adaptation of the Stephen King novel, Misery stars James Caan as a novelist who is injured in a serious car crash. A former nurse, and self-professed biggest fan played by Kathy Bates, rescues him. She brings him to her cabin to recover where her obsessions begin to take a dark turn.
