Behind the Screen: Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now is such a masterpiece, however we’ve yet to locate one of the original 70mm prints. So when Rialto announced the availability of the Final Cut in 4K, we knew we needed to bring it to our main theater, which has the only 4K screen in the area. The Final Cut is Coppola’s third cut of the film, which some say Coppola has privately referred to as “the Goldilocks edit” of the film.
